Oh boy, oh boy! Today is the day some of us have been waiting for, for the last 365 days. The Procession of the Species is such a great time to be in Olympia, appreciating the myriad of people and other animals that inhabit this world. At 4:30Pm in Downtown Olympia the parading shall begin, at least of the official sort. Before then, we are going to open up for all of those who would love some delicious food, without the huge crowds and tightly packed together tables. Which is for some a good time, but not for all. Well, whatever you choose to do, have a fabulous time and we'll see you soon! Happy Earth Day! Today means a lot of exciting things for the world. For instance there is the World People's Conference on Climate Change, being held in Cochabamba, Bolivia where people are brainstorming ways to keep this planet alive and well. Earth Day also means that Procession of the Species is right around the corner, which for any of you who don't know is one of the most liveliest events in Olympia, held in celebration of the diversity of life on Earth. There are many ways we can make an impact bettering the world, one of which is to choose to support local businesses and local agriculture. It's important to take care of one another and grow together as a community in tune with the needs of the planet, which is something we strive to do at Oly Piroshki.
